The Directors of Livro de Sonhos - R&D for the Future of Entertainment Technology

Livro de Sonhos (LdS) is the key partner of Real Media Assets for developing new products and ideas across Portugal and the UK, acting as the company’s primary research and development incubator for next-generation entertainment technology (Ent-Tech).

LdS works closely with the CoSTAR Live Lab at Production Park in the UK - a state-of-the-art innovation facility dedicated to creative technology research and virtual production. This partnership enables experimentation with new tools for mixed, virtual, and augmented reality - combining academic expertise, live performance, and real-time graphics with advanced production workflows.

Together, LdS and its offshoot DreamBook serve as a bridge between research and commercial development. They identify and nurture new creators, fund and prototype early-stage concepts, and introduce emerging talent and technology ventures into the broader Real Media Assets Technosphere - a global ecosystem of immersive media and creative technology companies.

The first major collaboration between LdS and Viridian Labs will be the launch of the immersive story app Don Quixote for the Apple Vision Pro in Q1 2026 - an interactive mixed-reality experience that reimagines classic literature through cutting-edge XR storytelling. Apple Inc. is contributing to the project by supplying equipment and providing production and technical engineering support, and will also assist in marketing the app through its App Store platform.
